Johnny Depp and Disney announced at the Walt Disney Studios Showcase in Hollywood, that he will play the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland.

Depp and Burton first teamed up for the 1990’s film Edward Scissorhands. This latest version of Alice In Wonderland will be in 3D, using a mix of live action and performance capture CGI.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star will also play the sidekick Tonto in the upcoming movie version of The Lone Ranger.

Depp also agreed to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film. -justjared.com

everything's gonna be alright...

so after 5 months of independence
and 2 straight up clicks after "hey dad" on the phone,
my dad finally wanted to talk.

apparently i got skinnier to my uncle
(who told my dad)
and for some reason skinny=pregnant to my family.
puh-lease!
my parents wanted me over to "talk"
oh great here we go, i thought...

but i finally went over..
thinking i was going to be yelled at the whole time.
first thing,
hugged my dad and he got all emotional.
long story short
all is well on the western front. =)

now im supposed to report daily after work
to pick up dinner so now i don't have to cook!
SCORE!

my dad and i are both very stubborn
so thats why it took a long time to talk
but...
finally the patches are mended.
